Just found this site while searching for photos of the town I'm living in. I'm interested in any photos of either the Rock Island, or Frisco in, or near Wister, Ok. If anyone has any they could share, I would appreciate it.

My name is Tim Schreiner, and I have a retail furniture/model railroad store here in Wister. I moved here from Arizona over four years ago. However I'm originally from Colorado. I currently model On3, and O, and have my layout on display in our store. It currently measures 22.5 x 63 ft. My lovely business partner is also building a layout in HO, and is also on display here in our store. It currently measures 18' x 16'.

I look forward to hearing from members here, and learning what I can.

Welcome to the forum! I sure know where Wister is- I have a daughter who lives in Huntington, AR, and my ex-wife lives in Mansfield. I trained in Ft. Smith in 1979-1980 in my chosen profession (lab technologist), and have been in almost all the towns in that area.

Next time I go to Huntington for prime grandpa time, I need to swing by Wister to check out your layout.

You're in a good place- onetime interchange between Frisco and the Rock's Choctaw Route.

Tim, impressive work. Good prototype choice, especially for those who HATE building trees.
