GP7s SLSF 570 and SLSF 527 at Sulligent, AL

Locomotives are in black and yellow. I do not have a date, photographer, or owner for the photograph, but I found it yesterday at the following.

I have spent many, many hours searching for pictures of the depot, but I had never seen this particular photograph until yesterday.

It is nice to finally see a picture of the depot with a train in the shot.

The fact that it has a couple of Frisco's EMD GP7s apparently stopped there beside it makes it even more special.

    What a cool photograph!

It is fun finding these old pictures.

In that photograph, there is something written on the east end wall. The last word looks like "PLATFORM."

Anyone know what the rest of the message says?

Also, I have wondered for years if that bricked portion of the wall was previously a garage door for a loading dock that was later bricked up.

There is certainly plenty of room for trucks to back up to that end of the concrete slab that remains today.

Anyone have an opinion about that theory?
