This is not a Frisco item in any way, but may be of interest to some of you who have a general railroad interest.

This is a new, mint SwissRail Travel Guide for their famous "Glacier Express" train, which travels from St. Moritz to Zermatt in Switzerland, through the Swiss Alps, through some of the most spectacular railroad scenery in the world. This is a very famous train, and has been the subject of several TV documentaries. We traveled on it from St. Moritz to Andermatt on our recent trip. It was a spectacular ride! The many tunnels, viaducts, circle loops, mountain views, glaciers, lakes, towns & villages, etc were something to see.

The book is in English, with many color photographs and maps, and a description of the line town by town. The book is Mint - I wound up buying two by mistake. See the pic. The new cost was CHF 12.00 (Swiss Francs) = $12.50.

It's yours for $10, including FREE shipping to you via USPS 1st Class mail. As usual for frisco.org members - payment by Paypal, money order, personal check are all OK.

    Anybody interested?

Here are two photos from a couple of months ago, the first being of the
Glacier Express from my hotel room in Brig and the other of a local train on the line between Brig and Zermatt used by the Glacier Express. Truly it is impressive scenery and also a very impressive railway.
