    Hi,
I've just joined the website. I grew up in Monett, Missouri during the 50' and 60's. My grandfather was an engineer, my uncle was a brakeman, and my father was a fireman, then engineer, and retired as Foreman of Equipment for the section from Springfiled, Mo to Tulsa, Ok.
I've been collecting N scale Frisco rolling stock for some time, and plan to model the line from about Springfield to maybe Pierce City. That will give me passenger, freight, industrial, and Frisco shops and roundhouses to work on. We rode the lines on vacations as a family, and took many a trip to the yard to pick up my dad after a deadhead home to Monett. His seniority was in Tulsa, so he worked there many weeks.
Never worked for a railroad, I'm now a Physician Assistant and just moved to eastern Kentucky for a new position. The house we're renting has a full basement, plenty of room for a setup.

Hi Bill...I had a couple of wonderful friends from the Monette area, Frank & Marvella Balmas; Frank was a signal maintainer on the Frisco, but I met them in Panama, where Frank had taken a Job as signal maintainer on the Panama Railrod...Needless to say, I spent a year and a half on the PRR, and in northern Panama at the United Fruit Company Railroad operation, Filming and photographing both Railroads. This was in the early 70's.

    Welcome aboard!|-|
