Bear with me here -

We've had a lot of discussion in this group about the correct shade of red/orange for Frisco's o/w diesel models.

We have a brick patio out back of our house. This is the patio that has several bricks in it salvaged from the platform of the Frisco Rolla depot on the SLSF Eastern Division when they demolished it in the mid-1980's.

Anyway - hanging on the house at the edge of the patio is a ceramic patio clock. It has a second hand on it.

Today, I pulled the clock out of winter storage and put it back in service. I noticed the second hand was all corroded. So, I gave it a coat of paint to improve its visibility - Frisco red/orange (ModelMaster Chevy Engine Red Acryl). Lookin' good!

So, anybody in frisco.org who wants to see the correct shade of red/orange for Frisco o/w units, come visit and take a look!
