Here is my first Northern Division Timetable. It is interesting to me that it lists all MP and MKT trains as well as the Frisco.

Here is Northern 36A. I got interested in comparing this ETT with 36 (posted above). Although they are only separated by a few months there are significant differences in some of the information.

Interesting numbering system on Frisco ETT's. I assume their letter designation after the number implies a minor update, i.e. Issue 39, issue 39A, issue 39B, etc. But when, say, issue 41 replaces issue 40, it must mean a major update? Does anyone know for sure?

Then in the 1970's, they switched back to lower numbered issues, i.e., 1, 2, 3 & 4. I guess they got tired of the big numbers?

Ken, You are correct. I think the reason for so many Supliments to #39 is because this is the time the passenger trains were being discontinued.I do not know why the went back to lower numbers. Here is ETT #39C.

Richard, please check out 39 E. I think you missed pages 19 & 20, from Neodesaha to Wichita and Ellsworth.
