Attached is a copy of a Frisco document some of you might not have seen - I'm not sure if this has been posted on frisco.org before. This is the May, 1947 drawing noting Mr. Hungerford's approval of the "new" Frisco logo (without the word "Lines"). Note the official proportions for the new logo.

I have an original copy of this print hanging in my office above my desk. I think the SLSF printed up a bunch of these for PR purposes - the logo is red with gold lettering and outline. I've had it for some time - my wife had it framed for me for my birthday long ago.

Also posted is a Frisco drawing showing the new logo dimensions for use on freight car lettering. This has been posted on frisco.org before. Note the proportions are the same, but the outline bordering and the lettering are somewhat wider than on the 1947 Hungerford drawing.

Does anyone have any other Frisco drawings of the official logo?

    Ken
