what color were the frisco car haulers? i have a older mantua slsf trailer train car, it has a black base with white letters and orange top car carrier with black frisco coonskin and lettering, its complete with cars, i also have a second one without the cars, i was wondering what the real cars colors were? and if i should bother trying to do this
The color photographs I have seen indicate they were the same type yellow used on general service flatcars. Andre Ming
ok thanks, but was the whole thing yellow? and if i do this can i get the tiny weight decals? and all the other ones it has on it?

mark, thanks for the links the oddball set wont work its the wrong type of hauler, it sounds like the leased ones from trailer train but when i look at the microscale brand the coonskin is white? so your saying the leased one was orange and yellow? do you have any color photos? or does anyone have any color photos of the auto racks of frisco leased from trailer train?
Craig, Please see this model photo for the general arrangement of paint and lettering. http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/932-4871 Hope this helps. Thanks! Mark
I believe that this is the car that Craigh has. There are better models to use to represent a Frisco bi-level or tri-level.
well karl, i think maybe you should spend a little time helping people who are new to this than making negative remarks about what people have to work with, everyone else seems to be very helpful and not so rude,if i had the money to buy the way over priced items i wouldnt be asking for help. also i would expect to have something i bought shipped when the seller gets the money and not have to wait a week for them to ship it
Craig, My apologies. It was not my intent to denigrate your efforts. It appeared to me that the folks offering decal recommendations, had misinterpreted the type of car that you had. (Note Mark's latest post of the Walters covered tri-level) It was my attempt to add clarity to the discussion. -keb-
