We've been talking about "Frisco art" in other threads, so .....

Here is a neat Frisco piece by Darrin Sturgis from 1985 - "The Texas Special". This full color artwork depicts a hot-shot Frisco freight behind four GP40-2's, SLSF 774, SLSF 766, plus two others, running fast through the Missouri countryside on a summer afternoon, crossing a deck girder bridge over an Ozark stream. Full color print - the red/orange is the right shade! Image size is 16"x20", with a 1" white border all around. The print is on fine 100 lb acid-free, dull coated paper, and is signed by the artist. Print is unused, in fine condition, ready to be framed (was received with some mild wrinkles along the bottom, but should not be visible when framed). Print will be mailed rolled in a sturdy mailing tube, along with Mr. Sturgis' description sheet for the back side of the framed picture.

This will look great on your wall - the contrast between the red/orange GP40-2's and the green Ozark countryside is striking. Well done.

Price - $12.50 for the print, plus actual USPS Priority Mail shipping in a USPS mailing tube.

See the description scan attached, plus a pic of the unrolled print (note the unrolled print looks "wavey" as it is not rolled out flat in the pic - it will be flat when you have it framed). The print itself is too big to scan, unfortunately. Believe me, you will like it.

Please advise if interested - send a message to me in frisco.org to meteor910, or send an e-mail to me at meteor910@mindspring.com.

Thanks. I don't have enough wall space, or this would be hanging as we speak. I will likely be offering other Frisco "art" shortly.

    Ken
