    Greetings Karl,

    Thanks for supporting FRISCo_Org.

You raise a fair point about post attribution. It is wonderful to have so many great photos of the FRISCO, but contributors must ensure the photos are properly attributed. More importantly, contributors must ensure they have permission to post other folks photos.

    Best Regards,
    mike

To Mike and especailly Karl. Dear sirs I joined this group to share the vast collection of photos and memorbillia that I have collected over the last 20 years. I have done this through garage sales, flea markets, auctions, Ebay, etc..... I have bought several old collections of past Frisco memebers that had pictures with no date, time, and or place. I know as well as you do that only handfull of all pictures where shot by several lifelong Frisco employees, but I could not begin to guess who shot what. What troubles me the most, this is suppossed to the premire Frisco railroad site on the web to go. Yet many of the memebers have post a fraction of their collections to share.

If you truly want to go by the letter of the law gentlmen, you should obtain written permission on everything posted on this site, including time tables ( which are copyrighted) Maps, etc..... Many of he photos on this this site would not past muster in the court of law. So tell me Karl have gotten permision for BNSF to post the time tables and the producers of the maps????? We know the answer.

It would also be wonderful not to be corrected by Karl most every post. Have you ever heard of it is not what you say, but how you say it?????? People come here for research not not to be told that they are wrong.

I have decided that I will no longer post on this site. Karl the site is yours to run.

Mike I am sorry that this came to this.

The action shot of 1041 is excellent. From the consist it would appear that it is train 709/704 someplace south of Fort Smith. Do you know the actual location and who the photographer was?
