Hi, My grandfather was an engineer with the T&P for 45 years. During WWII T&P leased 5 engines from the Frisco including #805. There was a derailment of a wheat train during icy weather between Denison and Ft. Worth. Would like to know if anyone has information or photographs of #805. Regards, Tom Webb Metairie, LA
Chester here is a photo - although not very good - of your grandfathers train Enjoy, Rich Ship it on the Frisco!!!
Are you certain of the details? Information from the old Frisco Museum indicates that the 805 was scrapped at Springfield during Nov. 1936
The only thing I can tell you about the photo, it is from the 1920's and that is about it. I have never seen a photo of this engine in the 40's Take care, Rich! Ship it in the Frisco!
