I was just looking at "Steve's Frisco Photos" and was pleased to see caboose 1104--If I'm not mistaken, it was a caboose used on the QA&P. It could have been the one on the QA&P's last run--maybe someone can verify-- It's identifiable by the slightly different placement of the lettering/no slogan. Chris
Thanks, Karl, I forgot I ever brought it up...was interesting to see the pic of 1104, since I've only seen it in the Hofsommer book. I'll have to see if there's the 1170 posted somewhere here also. I've modeled my own from an Athearn (filling in the window, etc), but was able to buy the nice Athearn version eventually when they made the red color more accurate.
