I was scrolling through eBay and saw this Overland Frisco model, and also its twin Frisco open-top hopper model, each listed for sale. The price asked for each was $299.99, which is pretty steep, even though these are no longer available. I have both of these, undecorated, which I've never painted. I have an extra of the covered hopper version. These have been sitting in their boxes for several years, so the extra fits into my on-going plan to sell off surplus models that I really don't need, so ..... For Sale: one brass Overland OMI-3129 HO Frisco home-built covered hopper. This is MINT, in original Overland box, with good foam, and a packet of spare parts. Excellent brass finish, ready to be decorated. Two-bay, six hatch covers, all hatch covers open. Complete with Overland brass trucks, but no couplers. Has brake air hoses. See the pics - note the one hatch cover I opened for the pic - they open from the outside in. See also the prototype Frisco company pic of SLSF 86597c. These normally sell for ~$125-$150 in equivanent mint condition on eBay, though they are not often seen. As noted above, to me $299.99 is a bit much. Price to frisco.org folks for this one - $110, plus shipping cost via USPS Priority Mail. Payment via check or USPS money order. Please, no PayPal on this as I don't want to eat their fee. Anyone interested? If so, contact me via pvt message on frisco.org to Meteor910, or via e-mail to me at meteor910@mindspring.com. Thanks. Ken
