It seems we rarely have good close-up pictures of Frisco F3B / F7B / F9B units. Here are two F9Bs from my "Enid" negative collection, both in Mandarin orange and white paint and that have been renumbered. F9B SLSF 140, EMD, renumbered from SLSF 5140 F9B SLSF 141, EMD, renumbered from SLSF 5141 Note the large 48" diameter dynamic brake fan the F9Bs carried. Also note the characteristic F9 Farr side grills and the SLSF-applied lifting screen spark arrestors. Ken
