For those of you in the area who might be interested .... a reminder that our estate sale is this coming week end, Sept 10 and Sept 11. We have been busting our tails the last several weeks getting ready after 31 years in this house.
Among all the other "treasures", I have quite a bit of railroad stuff included - rolling stock (both kits and built) locomotives, cabs, structures, books, Frisco stuff, maps, wall art (quite a bit, including the three Dedeks), the old layout, tools, magazines, bulletins, how-to's, etc. There also are model aircraft and ships featured, both kits and built. We dug deep!
Should you be interested, we would welcome your presence. Our home is at:
    12 Portland Drive
    Frontenac, MO
    phone: 314-432-8387
    mobile: 314-602-4220
Easy way to get here is to start from the intersection of I-64 and Lindbergh Blvd in Frontenac. Head south on Lindbergh just a bit until you hit Clayton Road. Turn right on Clayton (west). Go through two lights until you hit the third at Geyer Road. Turn left on Geyer (south). Take Geyer south for about a half mile to Portland Drive. Turn right into Portland (west). Follow Portland around until you reach #12 on the left. That's us!
You will only be able to park on one side of the road as the Frontenac Police will have one side signed "no parking".
    Hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm Saturday 9/10, and 9:00am-3:00pm Sunday 9/11.
There should be a pretty good crowd - our estate sale coordinator has had over 4500 hits on her web page pertaining to the 12 Portland sale. (Fleur de Lis Estate Sales) Hope so - need to move some stuff out as we can't take it all south!
If interested at all, come on over if you can. If not, thanks for reading this, and we will be chatting with you again soon from Naples, Florida!

Best wishes for you and Caroline, Ken.

Though I made a couple of trips earlier, I'd love to be there again, but we're in Cincinnati this weekend, visiting our daughter.

    Take care.
