    That's the King of the Frisco 2nd generation diesels, but you wouldn't just want ONE! You'd need a lash-up of at least three!

    When they were first released several years ago, the price was around $800 each, as I recall. Overland did them in two numbers - SLSF 701 and SLSF 711.

    I thought about buying one, or both, because they were so nice. But, then, I came to my senses.

    I have a very nice Athearn GP-35 w/torpedo tubes B/Y and sound...for a lot less!

    For the record, Overland at the time chose to offer this locomotive three ways:

    (1) Undecorated
    (2) Original delivery Black & Yellow
    (3) BN Green

    To this very day, in my opinion this remains one of the biggest Frisco realted mystery offerings that Overland has ever done!
