    Here's another one .....

I'm selling off my later model Frisco o/w units - too many locomotives around here for my small, crowded layout plus I'm really a Frisco b/y guy anyway!

I have a surplus Atlas Trainman HO Frisco GP38-2, powered, SLSF 469, in the mandarin orange and white scheme. This model is new, mint, in the original box complete with its Atlas data sheet. It has been out of the box sitting on the railroad for about nine months - has been run less than two minutes total. Runs very well - smooth! All-wheel drive.

    This is Atlas item 10-000-292

The GP38-2 is decorated well, with the excellent Atlas shade of red/orange - Atlas is the best of all the HO model producers for getting the red/orange color correct. It has Atlas supplied Kadee compatible couplers, nice handrails front, rear and sides, number boards contain the road number, nice looking Leslie three chime horn, correct low exhaust stacks, etc. For details and reviews of the model, see the frisco.org comments on this model when it came out around November, 2008.

I'm asking $44.00. Cost new was listed at $80 (my discounted price was $62) so this is a good deal for a mint, new, unused unit. The Atlas drive alone is worth this price.

Shipping cost will be actual USPS Priority Mail to your Zipcode, or if you prefer, USPS Parcel Post.

Anybody who is interested in this popular Frisco locomotive model - send me a private message to Meteor910, or send me an e-mail to meteor910@mindspring.com

Thanks. Probably a few more o/w units to follow.

I wish I could buy it. 2 problems. 1. I already have #469. 2. I just bought at GP, so I'm out of money. For potiential buyers: I would stongly recomend buying this loco is you are a 1970's modeler. It is a very great model. I have had no problems with it. Very easy to convert to DCC. you can go with the 8 pin plug or a replacement board.

    Another Christmas Special .....

My HO Atlas Trainman Frisco GP38-2 is still available. See the posting above. As per the Christmas Special, I'll knock the price down to $40.00, which is half of the Atlas MSRP price for this locomotive. Everything else is per the listing above.

This is a new, mint, test run only unit. (It runs great!)
