I wish I had a camera today! I was leaving a friends place today and had to cross over the old Missouri Pacific Lines, and to the right is clear shot of the UP's diesel fueling station. I had to do a double take. There on the lead of a southbound was a GP38 or GP40 (Hard to tell at 70 mph), was a Rock Island in very decent paint, sporting the baby blue, with the big "R" and The Rock logo. I couldn't believe it! The CRI&P still lives. Wish I had my camera!
