It's a pleasure to make your friendship and it's a special honor considering that your are an actual locomotive engineer. I have several distant relatives who currently work for BNSF and my Grandpa was a track laborer on the Frisco's Salem Branch back in the 30's to the early 60's. They, plus my friends who work on the Central Midland here in Union, are my only personal ties to the railroad. I've wished for several years that I would have pursued it as I career instead of what I do now. If I had to lose my hearing to something, I would want it to be to the constant sound of a diesel engine behind me.
