So, I was looking at a bunch of other photographs in the Missouri State Archives photostream when I ran across this photograph.

I cannot embed the direct photograph.

Location is on the Osceola Subdivision, aka the Kansas City, Osceola and Southern (KCOS) or Leaky Roof, in Polk County.

I believe in Fair Play, MO.

Am away from home and my notes, so Brad Scott can correct my memory.

One issue with the Missouri Archives, they do not necessarily have the photograph descriptions.

This one reads "Train pulling into town".

    Okay Charlie,

How do you do that, imbed the photograph, that is?

They have a photograph of a Missouri Pacific (MP) excursion that has an ancient Frisco stake-side gondola that may be of interest.

  6. This photograph of SLSF 148 was taken at Aldrich, MO.

The train is southbound, and the depot and water tower are partially visible behind the train.

    Wow, you guys are good!

I guess Charlie and I need to add that to the file name.
