Wheels Of Time has announced a second run of their 70 foot baggage cars which will include Frisco in four numbers ( 433 and 439 individually and 435 and 438 as a pair). Release date is summer 2011.

These cars are much closer to any Frisco car than anything that I know of that has been released previously.

If we are lucky, we might be able to get a shasowlined car (436) in a subsequent release.

I just received my Wheels Of Time Frisco HW baggage cars and they are SUPER! The pictures don't do justice to the models. http://www.wheelsotime.com/display/...true&__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1298582436861 On another note, Matthew Young and Wheels Of Time are a model maufacturer very attentive to modelers' suggestions and ideas and more importantly he LISTENS ! Matthew was very appreciative of the photos and specs I sent him for this project. Not like Intermountain and some others who can be very dismissive. Matthew treated me like I might actually know something.

These are really terrific cars. I wish somebody would do similar cars in HO at reasonable prices. Somehow, $69.95 for a Walthers baggage car just seems to high, considering that there really isn't much of anything in the interior.

    Tom,

I couldn't agree more about Wheels of Time from my dealling with Matthew. I met him at one of the NMRA national train shows a few years ago. He was able to get me a few undecorated cars from the first run of his Harriman passenger cars, which one day I'm going to use as kit-bash fodder for building Frisco coaches.

Oh, and the new baggage cars are very nice. I think I have enough head end cars now... except I'm missing a proper Frisco RPO...
