Since google aint helping me much I'll ask you guise. I'm trying to find other train stores/hobby shops in Springfield (MO). I have been to trainland a few times and it's a nice place. I notice that google lists a few more hobby shops but how many of them have a decent selection of trains?
Since HobbyLobby has quit carrying as much train stuff, the only other place I know of is HobbyTown USA, which is in a shopping center across from Battlefield Mall on Glenstone. Battlefield Station is closed, Sleeth has RC but no trains. Trainland is still my personal favorite, I've been going there since it opened in 1982! But I do go by HobbyTown every so often to see what they have. Anybody know of any others? - James
I sure hope that the Hobbytown in Springfield has better " customer service" than the one in Ballwin, Mo. I went there after checking the website for Titebond Glue, which said they handled it. Once I got there[ courtesy of wife, still can't drive!], they told me that they do not carry everything that the website says. Then, just ignored me! Not a what are you doing, what can we maybe help with, nothing. Some of these hobbyshops wonder why they lose so much to internet stores. [ now, I'll get off my soapbox!] Dan
