Yessir William, They are sure a pretty Golden color aren't they. Did they take that part of the RR up too? Those Black Hills are a pretty special place, that Crazy Horse monument will be spectacular if they ever finish it.
Tom, I don't know the status of the Custer Line today, while I was their, they was still running to Custer for felspar. The Hill City, tourist line was running and I led a hyrail trip, for some prospective buyers. The grade (4%) in places and sharp curves led to the lines abandonment. Would have been nice to have the line today, lots of history their, but then arn't they all.
