How did the Frisco determine which steam engine would lead on a double header? Wheel size, or Engineer seniority? On Helpers they were generally added to head end around here. But double headers were called that way out of the terminal and may have been operated differently. Any Ideas or comments Tom

Thanks Karl, Looks to me a 1200 and 1600 could be either or on the H/E. It is interesting how much of this stuff is still the same or similar. Tom
