The Steam Railroad Institute is currently restoring a consolidation that I believe was a one time Frisco engine. We just recieved the engine from Ohio Central, it is ex Gettysburg 76, which should be ex Mississippian 76 acquired in 1941, ex Frisco 76 of 1925, ex JLC&E number 40 of 1920. If anyone has any information on this engine, please share with me. Work is moving along quickly, we are hoping to have the engine running again within a year. Thanks.

I have been chasing Frisco 76 for quite a while. This engine was the Blytheville Arkansas switcher and ran the Blytheville Poplar Bluff local. This engine was serviced on the old JLC&E tracks behind the Coca Cola plant in Blytheville. The engine hostler had let me on this engine and 73 and 74 when I was growing up . I finally found that it was on the Ohio Central and there is a picture of them unloading it and getting ready to rebuild it. You say you received it from Ohio Central. Where is it located now?
