I joined awhile back but haven't been active, so I thought I'd start over and introduce myself. My name is Paul Moore and my wife and I live in Colorado Springs. My hometown is Dallas, TX, and I have been a railfan and model railroader since high school (the early '70's). I've built 4 model railroads--two HO and two N scale. N Scale is too hard to see now so I model HO. The Frisco is of particular interest to me because my grandfather worked for the QA&P as a lineman until the spring of '55. My mom grew up on a farm outside of Quanah and I've spent quite a bit of time there. She was actually born in Springfield, MO, because granddad worked for the Frisco before being transferred to the QA&P. I've been trying to find information on the QA&P, especially locomotive rosters and rolling stock. Any information I can find related to modeling the QA&P is also of interest. Welcome back, prodigal son. I have seen a lot of QA&P posting here, so I know you will have lots of help. We visited Colorado Springs several years ago, and one of the main things I remember is the steep steps going up Seven Falls. I don't know if I could do it again now. We had a good time there. Terry
