Can anyone tell me if the North Eastern Oklahoma Railroad was a subdivision of the SL&SFR.R. during the period 1900-1930? I notice that the Picher Mining Co. of Picher, OK. (current site of the Tar Creek mess) owned three ex-Frisco "Russian" Decapods in the period of the 1920's. At his excellent website Ottawa County under mining in Oklahoma, John Schehrer has several pictures of these locomotives. On his website there is a picture of a NEO R.R.depot in one of the small boomtowns around Picher, OK.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Henry, the NEO was not a subdivision of the Frisco in the 1900 - 1930 time period. Eagle-Picher was a separate company and did own some ex Frisco decapods; 1615, 1621, 1630, 1632 sold to Eagle-Picher in 1951.
