    Hi Y'all,

My name is Manny and I'm happy to be here. I am a retired freight railroad conductor and I have always loved the Frisco. After a 20 year hibernation, I've decided to get back into model railroading. I'm doing a short line here in San Antonio, Texas that is a link between the FRISCO and the Katy, Mopac and Texas and Pacific Railroads. I'll post up the build thread shortly.

I'm all steam. No diesels. I hope to glean a lot of info and get some help with modeling here on the board. I'm real laid back and informative and quite the pic monger.

Glad to be here. See y'all around.

    Thanks Terry,

Believe me, it will be 99.44% FRISCO/SABRR. I don't like UP, but it's the only other railroad we have here. I have some working knowledge of the FRISCO, although its a bit rusty.

As for the build thread, I can't seem to load pictures. They just give links. Is that how it works here? You can't post pictures directly in your threads?

    Manny -
Sounds very QA&P'ish. Looking forward to seeing what you have.

You can, indeed, post pictures within your post. When you click "Post Reply," scroll down below your text box. Under Additional Options, you will see a small, blue "Attach Files" option.

Click on the Manage Attachments button. This will give you a pop-up box that then allows you to attach photos and other files (e.g. MSWord docs, PDFs, etc.).

    Best Regards,

    Hey Yardmaster,

Thanks. I went into my CP and I found it. Now I can post up pictures. Already the members here are helping contribute to my new railroad. I appreciate the help! I've been out so long I'm rusty as all...

I can't wait to get started.

    Thanks again!

    Manny
