I am going to be having dcc installed in my FAs and FBs and am wondering if any of you have modeled any with the EMD repowered look. I have been studying which engines to leave as original and which to "repower" to the EMD configuration. The 5215 which I have was repowered in 1956, and so I am wondering which would be easier: 1. renumber to a number which was not repowered which would force me to change the P2K lighted number board resulting in a non lit number board but leave the roof alone, or 2. leave the number board alone which allows me to have the number board lit, but forces me to change the roof to the EMD look. I would like to know if any of you have renumbered one of the P2K units (E8 or FA) and still had a lit number board. I can't figure out how to change a number on these units without first placing a black background in the number board before placing the white numbers on. This black back ground would result in the light being blocked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this is a problem I haven't been able to figure out on either of the mentioned units. Terry
