What happened to the passenger car at the Frisco Museum in Springfield, Missouri? I heard the museum has closed. Is that true? If so what happened to the car that was there? Thanks in advance.

The museum is defunct and closed, the collection and equipment sold. The disposition of that car has been discussed on this chat board, but I can't locate the posts to make a link. Can somebody help?

Here's a little more info about these cars:

[The chair-buffet-lounge car in the salvage yard (#1651 "Ladue") was placed in front of the Kentwood Arms Hotel (Now Missouri State University's "Kentwood Hall" residence dorm) along with diner #1551, which had been converted from an observation diner. Those two cars served as a resturant for a while. A second chair-buffet-lounge (1652 "Huntleigh") was used as a bar along a side street near the Kentwood. When it was moved (either to or from that spot), it was damaged and later scrapped. The third chair-buffet-lounge (1650 "Sterling Price") was sold to a party at Pittsburg, KS.] (Red letters from using the search function)

PS: The 1551 was the car displayed at the former Frisco Museum.

Several years ago, I saw the Sterling Price on a siding in Baldwin Kanas at the museum yard. It was going downhill very fast. This was the car that had been in Pitsburg.
