    To All:

BLMA recently announced production of a highly detailed model of a GSC 60' Flat Car in N scale. I know the Frisco purchased either RTR or kits of 60' flats from GSC in several batches. This begs the question as to were the Frisco cars identical to these being offered? If so, someone on the forum with a contact at BLMA should submit pictures (hopefully some exist) so that we can be considered for the next run. Any thoughts or input?

I thought all of the frisco GSC cars were 53'6" cars ( which Walthers and Athearn have both made in n-scale... Athearn has even released them in Friso paint ( with bulkheads )... I think this is also the prototype for the deluxe innovations/GHQ 53'6" flat).

The Frisco 60' cars I have seen have a more rectangular side sill than the BLMA cars. In n-scale, these are more like the intermountain and n-scale kits ( formerly Alan Curtis Models ) 60' cars.
