Intermountain has announced a Frisco USRA drop bottom gondola in six numbers with a build date of 10-19. Cost is: N-$24.95 and HO-$32.95 with the reservations due November 30th and available May/June 2015. This news is so hot off the press that I could not find any hobby shops showing their price yet. It is good to see more Frisco equipment being made available.

FYI. The "pushers" have them discounted down to about $24.00. As I understand it (maybe!), this is a RTR car possibly with cast details, not a detail laden kit, which IRC also offers for the same car type.

    Ken and All:

I checked the Intermountain site and these new offerings are listed in same group as the previously released road names which clearly show separate grab irons. Of course I may be wrong, but I don't think so. Intermountain has introduced a "Value-Line" which do not have the same level of detail. The first car offered is a 14 panel Coalporter.

Ah - I was told the new IRC gons were also of the "Value Line" variety. If not - good! I should have checked. If they are a release of new road names for their previous USRA gon kit, this time including Frisco cars, that is good.

I just took the time to check the HO Hobbies message, and you are right. I stand corrected.

I have the MP gon, from the earlier IRC kit, and a Frisco gon, from a custom IRC build from the first release. Nice cars. Looks like this time they are doing a "Frisco" coonskin with the car color (red oxide) background. Wish they would have done the car with a black background "Frisco Lines" coonskin instead, but any quality Frisco car release is OK.
