hello, i had a guy give me a HO scale engine i know it not a frisco yetbut will be soon with a body change, anyway im really not familar with the newer models, it says it was made by walthers on the bottom its pretty heavy i tested it out but only the headlight comes on i took the body off and it haas a double flywheel that you can turn freely and it turns the driveshafts but nothing when on the track, it also has what kinda looks like the bottom of a circut board on top, its long and skiny and theres 2 wires each coming from the wheel sets. is this a dcc equipted model? will it not run on a dc only track? pleas help me out i can post a pic if nessasary. i dont want to spend a lot of time on it right now it it wont. oh and can a person who isnt really interested in dcc just disconnect the wires from the board and solder them to the axle wires? thanks craig
