I have for sale a custom painted set of F units. Road number 33 and 118 respectively. They are painted orange and white. They are MRC Platinum Series models. They are DC. The are lightly weathered. They run good. They are in the original boxes. Would like to sell as a set for $140

DCC ready, or will hard-wiring be necessary?

Pretty job on those, was wondering, does that one take the dropin, or a hardwire and speaker fitting.

I have never seen under the body of an MRC unit, so I can't respond as to what decoder would be best. With a picture of the frame with body removed, I could provide guidance, sound or no sound.

If these units are DCC ready, there will be a receptacle to receive pins from a decoder. If there is no receptacle, the DCC components will have to be hardwired. It isn't difficult, but it is time-consuming.

Sorry for the delay in posting. The motor is isolated so they are decoder friendly but have no circuit board with a 8 or 9 pin harness. 20141109_082800.jpg

Howard, thanks, but can you get me an shot from a low angle (say 45 degrees) from one side? Based on the direct overhead shot, it looks like even a Tsunami sound installation would be relatively easy.
