Consider this a follow-up to the previous "Modeling the Frisco in 4x8."

The kid has definitely been bitten by the HO bug. An overnight stay at the Drury Inn-Union Station last week helps! He has been wearning the covers off old issues of MR, MRP and all of the old Chicagoland C&NW track charts that I've accumulated.

In short...I think is amenable to building a large horseshoe-type layout in 1/2 of our 2-car garage (rougly 18' along each leg and 10-12' along the back). If all goes well, he can run whatever types of locomotives, rolling stock, etc. he wants and I as well, but I would prefer to go with a specific Frisco locale instead of Genericville USA.

I've tinkered with Chaffee, Hayti and Sikeston among other River Division locations. I could also probably make do with Harrisonville and Lebanon thanks to plans that Brad Scott, Karl Brand and Doug Hughes have made available.

    Any other suggestions?
