Direct from Digitrax: It is possible to connect a UR91 Receiver to the Loconet on a newer Duplex Radio Empire Builder or Super Chief systems to allow the use of UT4R throttles with the system or vice-versa (UR92 and Duplex throttles on older systems). That way one could accomodate the use of the Duplex DT402D or UT4D and the simplex DT400R, DT402R, and UT4R throttles. Hear that Ron White?
Keith, That is exactly what we are going to do. Louis Griesemer will bring his UR91 over at the next operating session. Last session he had his Laptop here and using Decoder Pro could set up throttles on the PC. He ran engines across the room from the laptop. When he brought up the diagnostics tool we could watch all the throttles and the changes that occurred as someone used their throttles. Thanks for your suggestion. The Digitrax folks have been very helpful as I have set up this system. Bob Wintle answered a lot of questions I had as well. I was happy you were able to get some time to drop by to see the layout.
