For anyone interested:

There is a move afoot to restore the old Frisco depot in Leachville, Arkansas.

The building has been used as a residence for several years, but some locals are mounting a fund-raising drive in order to fully restore it to its old glory.

I plan on going to Leachville, this afternoon, and will ask some of the folks I know what the status of the project is.

The Leachville Subdivision was originally a part of the Kennett, Osceola, and Southern (KO&S) Railroad.

It was purchased by the SLSF in the early 1900s, I think.

I will post a report of my venture to Leachville, later today.
