Hello Friscophiles! I'm Andre Ming, of Poteau, OK. I've been interested in the Frisco since my childhood/youth days (late 50's/60's) in/around the Kansas City area. Shortly after moving to the Ft. Smith area in January of '69, I discovered the Ft. Smith Subdivision and have had a keen interest in that Sub ever since. I modeled the Frisco off and on over the past 34 years, with several of those years being semi-serious efforts including two layouts devoted to the Ft. Smith Sub. It was through the last Frisco layout in the late 80's early 90's that I became aquainted with some of the names I see here! (Hello again Doug Hughes!) Anyrate, just "discovered" these forums, so thought I'd stick my head in the door and say "Hi". Looking forward to exchanging info with other Frisco enthusiasts as time goes by. Take care. Andre Ming
Andre: I am working on a layout design for Fort Smith/Van Buren. Era is early 80's and I could use some help figuring out which road served which industry, etc. If you (or anyone else would answer some questions, I'd appreciate it. Steve Marquess
