Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on a track chart for the line from Monett down to Ft. Smith? I would be willing to reimburse any expense for having a copy made. Thanks! GS
Re: Ft. Smith sub track chart Assume you are talking about the profile with bridge locations, etc? Not the town charts with business sidings?
Re: Ft. Smith sub track chart For clarification purposes, this is Frisco standard terminology: Track Profile Charts give degree of curvature, elevation, grade, turnouts, sidings and mileage. Industry Schematics provide industries served and track arrangement for serving those industries. I have attempted to keep all Track Charts and Industry Schematics located in the Historical, Operations, Track Charts / Industry Schematics sub forum: http://www.frisco.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?379-Track-Charts-Industry-Schematics
Re: Ft. Smith sub track chart Some Central Division Industry Schematics are located here: http://www.frisco.org/vb/showthread.php?5761-Industry-Schematics-Central-Division-Ft-Smith-Sub
Re: Ft. Smith sub track chart The document I am looking for is basically a book that shows the elevation, curves, location of sidings, grade, tunnels, etc., from Monett to Fort Smith. For the moment I don't care about industry schematics. On the Missouri Pacific these were called track charts. GS
Re: Ft. Smith sub track chart Well, it's been not quite a year since I originally posted this inquiry, and so far nada, so I thought I'd take another shot. I am still looking for a Central Division track chart, ideally from the 1950s or 1960s, but I'll settle for just about anything anyone can come up with. I am willing to either pay to have it copied, or I can copy it myself. I don't want to buy it (although I will if it's available that way) or keep it, just get a look at it. Thanx! GS
