Is this a first edition or is the one with a color dust jacket? The price seems cheap so I'm not sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-FRISCO...916&pid=100011&prg=1005&rk=2&sd=170824287618& Patrick
Steel your guts for a price rise in the last couple minutes. The price as of 6 PM CST on Thanksgiving will not stay that low! George "been there" Nelson
Frisco Diesel Power by Louis Marre and J. B. Harper is also available along with Frisco Power from the same seller. Combined order could save shipping. Right now less than $40.00 for both, shipping included! George "...but they will both go up even though I am not bidding" Nelson
Frisco Diesel Power is, to me, the bible of all things infernal-combustion about the Frisco. Got my copy when it first came out, and I have enjoyed it since. Use it for a reference point when modeling my motive power fleet. A must-have for every ralifan's library!
It finished at $51.16 and Marre's Diesels book sold for $17.50 not including shipping. Congratulations to the winner(s). Was one (both) you, pathowe? George
I tried to get the steam edition but it went for more than what i wanted to pay for a book. But i got the diesel edition Ethan
There are two other Collias' Frisco Power available, one 2nd Edition and signed for only $101.99 (on a buy it now option) and a first edition unsigned for $100 obo. (hee, hee, hee) But they still have 24 and 15 days respectively left on them. So act fast! Yeah right. Also available for another 10 days, is a p/p quality Marre Frisco Power presently going for $30.00 obo.
You guys ought to check the internet booksellers "Alibris" and "ABE Books." Usually there are some of the Frisco books listed and fairly often, at decent prices. Some are overpriced, just avoid those and go for the bargains and you don't have to go through an auction like eBay. Tom
Right now ABEBOOKS has 9 "FRISCO POWER" books listed , in various conditions, ranging from $40 to $175.
