I made this video a while back but forgot to post it here albeit late, I offer the attached. I ripped the audio from a friend of mine's video of a train climbing Tennessee Pass. Love the sounds of them EMD's working in the "company notch".
Neat video, lot of racks, I just picked up the new Athearn Frisco auto carriers. I seen a few of them roll out of the shop. Thanks good sound also.
Wow, man! You've got a great layout and a very impressive fleet. All I can say is "wow" without sounding too redundant.
That's really awesome layout Tom. I hope I'm around long enough to get mine scenicked. I still have passing tracks and sidings to lay. I never know which way to turn any more. I'd like to see a GPM 4500 bringing a train load of tank cars up the grade on your layout.
Double wow! Nice work Tom! How many of those auto-racks do you have? I like the contrast between that long string of huge auto racks, and then finally, along comes the tiny Frisco bay-window hack hanging on! Ken
Just watched the second half, 100 mile runaround, first out. Trees are looking good, those things are never ending. Was that Haz, next to the caboose. Guess it was not occupied. Great looking layout.
Thanks Guys, I appreciate the input and comments, I really do. I am so lucky, and that just it, plain lucky, to be able try a MRR like this once. I have enjoyed it most of the time except that stinkin scenery. I still got a small patch to do down by the World Headquarters Bldg, for the Hindsight Industrial Rail System (HIRS) and a little chunk of the tank car to truck bulk operation. But I can see the end in sight. Except them for trees, where did they all go, doesn't even look like I made any now.
