Hello All--Atlas apparently has out now a Frisco caboose #162. I'm not sure if it's been discussed here, but is it an authentic type with correct number? It has a cupola and two side windows. Did Frisco have anything like this other than the NEO cabs? Thanks, Chris

I believe the caboose is a correct represetation of the NEO cabooses. #162 is correct. I have one of them. Nice model.

Thanks, I just looked at a pic of a former NEO caboose--but only one. This particular one had the same lower window arrangement as the Atlas model, but the cupola was a bit different, with narrower, rectangular windows and a sloping peak to the middle of the roof. The roof ends of the car also blended into the sides a bit differently. Again, not sure if the whole class looks like that, but all-in-all the Atlas seems a plausible representation (probably as close as you can get without scratchbuilding or kitbashing).

The Atlas is a nice looking model, but I believe it is not quite autherntic for the NEO cabs ..... look at the end steps and platforms, and, the cupola does not look like it is centered to me. However, I've only seen the Atlas pics; I've not seen the model itself.
