    Hello All,

Atlas apparently has out now a Frisco caboose SLSF 162.

It has a cupola and two side windows.

Did Frisco have anything like this other than the Northeast Oklahoma (NEO) Railroad cabooses?

I am not sure if it has been discussed here, but is it an authentic type with correct number?

    Thanks,

    Chri

I believe the caboose is a correct representation of the NEO cabooses.

Caboose number SLSF 162 is correct.

    I have one of them.

    Nice model.

Thanks, I just looked at a picture of a former NEO caboose, but only one.

This particular one had the same lower window arrangement as the Atlas model, but the cupola was a bit different, with narrower, rectangular windows and an angled sloping peak to the middle of the roof.

The roof ends of the car also blended into the sides a bit differently.

Again, not sure if the whole class looks like that, but all-in-all the Atlas seems a plausible representation.

Probably as close as you can get without scratch building or kit bashing.

The Atlas is a nice looking model, but I believe it is not quite authentic for the NEO cabooses.

Look at the end steps and platforms, and, the cupola does not look like it is centered to me.

However, I have only seen the Atlas photographs.

I have not seen the model itself.
