Hello to all, Here are some pictures of the Frisco depot in Exeter, MO. The Exeter Frisco depot was also used by the Cassville & Exeter (C&E) Railroad. As you look at the following pictures you see a spur line running behind the depot. That spur rail line is the C&E railroad line leading to Cassville, MO. If anyone wants to know the history of the Cassville & Exeter Railroad, I do know the whole history of this railroad from the beginning to end. Please let me know via private message if you want to know the history. Thanks, Brian Waller
This was another depot negative identified as Frisco by the late Gene Hull, reportedly taken shortly around 1950. From the architecture, this one does appear to be the Frisco depot at Exeter. Perhaps someone more familiar with the automobile models can date the photo more accurately. Bill Pollard SLSF-Exeter, MO circa 1950 by arkrail posted Feb 10, 2023 at 9:01 PM
Based on the tiny photographs that were submitted in 2010 by Brian Waller and these form the Richard Napper collection, you have a picture of the Frisco depot at Exeter. The train order board and the shepherd's crook lamp at the train order order stand are a match. The vehicles fit the 1950 time frame.
