What recommendation does everyone have regarding current control (short protection) devices for DCC?

I know Digitrax offers their PM42. DCC Specialties has the PSX series Circuit Breakers. Any others? Recommendations based on use?

When it comes to these kind of devices, I tend to stay away from things like the Digitrax PM42, because it requires loconet to configure fully (and I don't use a Loconet based system).

The PSX series devices are good. I have a set of these in a box I take to shows.

NCE has an EB1 and EB3. I've used the EB3, and it works pretty well.

Incidentally, the CP6 that Ethan mentioned is a current limiting device based on the automotive light bulb idea. It is not short protection.
