Hi Ted, Your list matches information that Roger Taylor posted here several years ago: http://www.frisco.org/vb/showpost.php?p=8046&postcount=9 See note number 8, which talks about a bridge fire between Blairstown and Quick City in 1976, and that Blairstown was then serviced by the Springfield-Clinton local. Also see note number 9, which talks about a bridge fire between Blairstown and Maurine, which embargoed Blairstown, in 1977. Paul
Thanks Bob. I just shot that last night on my "old layout" for a Blair Line ad and maybe a Christmas card. Will probably be the last shots from the old layout. The old layout is taking up valuable space in my layout room. I need to salvage the buildings, turnouts and trees then tear it down. Progress then can continue on my new layout. Hope to be laying track in Dodson and Centropolis by year end. Dale Rush Carthage, MO
Re: A Little Layout Progress I need to post an updated track plan soon. I have made many revisions based on expert and well thought out advice from Karl, Mark and Rick. Dale Rush Carthage, MO
Re: A Little Layout Progress Dale - Very nice scene. Makes me want to drop into the Yard Café and get a hot cup of coffee! In fact, I might already be there ..... the yellow 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is just like one we had - that I learned to drive on. 283 V-8, nice car. Ours was a 4dr hardtop - can't tell if the one in your scene is a 2dr or a 4dr, probably a 2dr. Ken
