The Winter 2007 "Classic Trains" has a neat J. David Ingles Frisco article with color photos of several black/yellow first generation units in original paint at Sapulpa and Tulsa, OK. An interesting aside:There's a photo of two F-M yard switchers with SL-SF x-82 brake slug or "sled." It's an almost identical photo to the one in Marre and Sommers' "Frisco In Color," page 31 credited to Emery Gulash?? The photos must have been taken moments apart (shadows, trash, ballast gravel are identical)--I'm wondering if that was actually done by the same photographer or did they trade some slides?? Anyway, some neat 1960 Frisco railscenes.

Speaking of Brake Sleds. This one was still in Tulsa, Oklahoma as of 2001. This is Brake Sled #81
