Circa 1963, the Frisco reorganized, and created three operating districts. The Southwestern District was comprised of the SW Div, the Central Div, the Red River Div, and the Western Div. The Southeastern District was comprised of the River Div and the Southern Div. The Central District was comprised of the Eastern Div and Northern Div.

While in Springfield, this past weekend, my wife bought this Central District Notepad from one of the local "antique malls". I have never seen one, so I was pleased that she bought it. The Central Star is focused on Springfield and the five points of the star represent KC, STL, Memphis, and Elsworth.

I would say Fort Smith instead of Thayer. I've not seen any of those pads, either.

Thayer would be on the Memphis run...? Did Elsworth have much traffic?

Thayer was a crew change point between Springfield and Memphis. Ellsworth was the end of the line on the Burton Sub.
I drove over to Ellsworth, just so I could say I was their, the furthest I worked was Burton, which was bad enough.
Ellsworth, didn't have much traffic, in the mid 70's, maybe some during grain runs, but not much.
Thats a nice pad, Karl, don't think I have seen that one.
