Several of us on the forum have had outstanding pre-orders with Canadian Models Trains for a couple of years now for the 1200 class Wide Vision Cabooses that Overland Models is going to produce. Having said that, I just received a email from Overland Models that referenced a large retailer of theirs recently going out of business and to please contact them (Overland) if you discover that you have standing pre-orders with this retailer that they didn't directly name. I have reason to believe that the retailer may be Canadian Model Trains. If one tries to go to the Canadian Model Trains website www.modeltrains.com they are directed to contact an entity called 2236675 Ontario Limited claiming to have assumed their inventory and giving a number to call. I am in the process of checking out what all of this means but would definitely suggest anyone with a pre-order get in touch with Overland Models directly. I will report back as soon as I know more.
