1607 Buffet 1607, nee 1087 Very similar to 1610 & 1611, the 1607 also served as a dormitory, and had a small compartment with 3 berths
Buffet-Lounge 1603/Glendale Glendale, nee 1603, nee 1105 was painted in the red and silver shadow-striped livery for service on the Texas Special. Each toilet had an ante-room.
Thank you Karl, It was most certainly 1602,07,10,or 11. One of those with the grill in the rear. It was end of train everytime we rode on it and I guess we were just standing in the vestibule. My memory wants me to believe it was an observation platform, but shoot, I was twelve and 14. Great times to remember. Now I know what to look for should I model the Frisco. Thanks for your research and willingness. Cary
What book are you guys posting the floor plans from? I work with the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum here in alabama. We own the Buffet Lounge 1603 - Glendale. We also own the Frisco coach 1062. I would love to have a copy of the equipment roster book for the Frisco if that is what you guys are posting drawings from. Does anyone have the drawing for the 1062 that they could send me? This car is in service on our museum railroad currently. Jeff
